Hudson Baseball Fall Ball Program

 

 

Objective: To provide a fall ball program that matches the values and vision of the Hudson Baseball Association and the Hudson High School Baseball program.

• Focus on fundamentals
• Correct during game situations
• Consistent messaging for boys going through Hudson Baseball

 

 

Proposal:

• Start August 26^th; End October 10^th  (6 weeks: 12 practices, 5+ games)
  • First day of school is Aug 31^st
  • Skip Labor Day (Sept 3-7^th)
  • Skip Tryout dates (Aug 22/23 and Aug 29/30)
• Run by High School coaches and players
• Cost: $100/player
• Practice 2 days a week (Mon/Weds, 6-9pm)
  • Mondays: Aug 31, Sept 14, Sept 21, Sept 28 & Oct 5
  • Wednesdays: Aug 26, Sept 2, Sept 9, Sept 16, Sept 23, Sept 30 & Oct 7
  • 6-7:30pm, 10u-12u
  • 7:30-9pm, 13u and 14u
  • Flexible depending on registration numbers at age groups
  • Could sub some games in as they come up.
• One game per week (Saturday @ Barlow)
  • Sept 12, Sept 19, Sept 26, Oct 3 and Oct 10
  • 10u-12u: 9:30a (Barlow D)
  • 13u & 14u (12u if needed/interested): 9:30a (Barlow B)
  • Cost of $60 per game for umpire ($120 x 5 = $600)
• Invite “outside” teams to play games with us
  • Streetsboro, Revere, Aurora, Twinsburg, Etc
